DIY Laundry Detergent

Alright folks, it’s time to clean up our acts!

If you’re looking for a super simple laundry detergent recipe because someone in your household has irritated skin, has been experiencing allergic reactions or you just want to green it up a little, this is and amazing and super simply DIY recipe.

Here is a break down of the cost of this recipe:  YOU WILL BE AMAZED!!

  1. Dr. Bronners Castile Soap: 1 cup=$4.50
  2. Baking Soda: 1 cup= $0.28
  3. Salt: 1/3 cup= $0.09
  4. doTERRA Essential Oils: this can range depending on how much you use and which oils you use.  For me this was about $7 dollars at 10 cents per drop.  I put 10 in each bottle. This could definitely be reduced if you choose to.

GRAND TOTAL= $11.87 for 60 loads (that’s 20 cents a load!)

This is super inexpensive for a body loving, non toxic laundry detergent that is completely safe for the whole family!!

In the video I mentioned using On Guard and Citrus Bliss or Serenity and Lavender…but some other great oils to use would be doTERRA’s Purify blend, melaleuca and lemon for some extra tough grime and stank fighting power.

I hope you give it a go!

Have fun with this and remember, change happens best with baby steps.  So take it easy and enjoy the small victories!
